CC @adamgreig, @therealprof, I've written up a second update of what I think the Rust Society could look like.

I'm starting to solicit both "hey that's a bad idea" and "hey we want to join" feedback, likely gearing up towards discussions at RustWeek.

I think unless someone says "stop", or no one signals interest in joining in, this seems like the transition plan for domain working groups (not a made decision yet, but the only active proposal on the table at the moment):
