It seems to be gnu compatible (so no real upgrade there) and the extended features don't really interest me...

I'd be excited if:
- faster than LLD
- There's a good replacement for the god awful gnu linker scripts

But on that last point, I wouldn't be able to use cortex-m-rt anymore...
