I'm the guy behind the `is_request_frame()` issue [https://github.com/rust-embedded/embedded-hal/issues/740]. Thank you for considering and discussing my suggestion yesterday!

I agree: ideally, it should have been something similar from the start. Things being what they are now, fixing is unfortunately going to be a breaking change, eventually… :-/

On the bright side, it will be a trivial fix downstream (worth it in the long run, in my opinion), but still: i also agree that it seems overkill to version-bump for this renaming alone.
Maybe the best course of action is to wait for another, more substantial, breaking change and bundle them together?

If you're interested, i just so happen to have other suggestions that would fit that bill. :-p
