Hi all! I am in the last year of my [BSc in Mobile Robotics](https://github.com/rursprung/) and looking for a **Bachelors Thesis** in the robotics world - preferably using Rust (hence why I'm posting here - my university isn't using Rust yet and neither are their partner companies)! Namely my university requires the topic to come from the industry, i.e. I can't just come up with something nice on my own but there needs to be a company requesting it. The thesis would start in February 2025 and end in August, a first draft of the project idea would have to be submitted by the company by the end of this month. I'm an experienced Sofware Engineer/Software Architect (18 years experience in enterprise IT by now; CV available upon request, rough overview on LinkedIn) and have experience with Rust in the embedded world (through self-study / use in university courses where I used Rust instead of C/C++ :)). You can get a small glimpse into some of the things I do on [my GitHub profile](https://github.com/rursprung/) (though nearly all of my professional work is closed source, sorry). This would be a project for one person, worth 12 ECTS (à 30h, i.e. 360h total, incl. admin overhead) and it can include both hardware and software things. While my university (& I) is located in Switzerland the company doesn't have to be here. Just in case any hardware is needed you'd have to ship it here. If anyone would be interested (or would know a company which would be interested) please reach out to me! Thanks!
