i was looking for a paper comparing rust for firmware development against other (established) programming languages (i want (need?) something to cite for my "rust is better!" statement in my thesis to argue my choice of rust 😅) and came across these two:

the latter also lists reasons for why people chose not to use rust. i think ferrous systsems would be very happy to market ferrocene to the 30% which responded that they lacked certification (chapter 6.2 / figure 1) 😉

does anyone have a better (recent) paper at hand which compares rust against others?
