Ralith: Something I feel tinkerers can learn a lot from is simulation. Here's a way to gain a lot of the insight for basically free:
- Download the falstad circuit simulator and try to run whatever filter configuration you're thinking of doing
- simulate the circuit in PSPICE if you want the fancy frequency response and transients.
