obligatory follow up question: bitfields with weird sizes (u2, u3, u4, u5, u6, u7, u15, etc.)

after spending way longer than I care to admit: I think https://github.com/hecatia-elegua/bilge/tree/main is probably my pick

I used modular-bitfield before but the builder style construction of it made it possible to omit fields

but I'd like to hear if anyone else has done enough stuff work with bitfields
