Ha, we've come a long way man.
I'm updating an old slidedeck about embedded Rust and it has a bullet point like:

- Async (see blogposts)

It was so new it needed blogposts! There was no one doing it yet in a way that was not just an experiment or blogpost material.
The slidedeck also has an example of using a HAL. And ehh, yeah, that's now gonna be the async embassy blinky example
