"mcc111: what sort of properties?" <- - Hard RISCV - FPGA onboard - "desktop-like" quantities of RAM - Luxuries like ethernet I'm planning to do stuff on the Analogue Pocket where I have a RISCV softcore and then draw graphics with some additional gateware, so this is a way to duplicate what I'm doing there on some piece of non-Analogue hardware. I might attempt Linux stuff insofar as what I'm long term interested in implementing some ultraminimal toy GPU that can be driven by a conventional graphics api like opengl or vulkan, *but* that's obvious overreach and also I don't think this particular fpga has enough LUTs to do much more than sprites What I really want is a MNT Reform RKX7 but that would be over $1200 and also I don't think that's actually a supported product (in that I think there were like ten made and all to order) whereas this seems tractable and lower commitment
